Haggai
Haggai calls the people to rebuild the ruined temple after their return from exile. “Is it a time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, while this house lies in ruins?” (Haggai 1:4). His message sparked revival. Haggai proclaims that the glory of the new temple will surpass the former (Haggai 2:9), a prophecy many see fulfilled in Christ. He assures them that God’s presence and blessing will accompany obedience.
